My brother, baby and I came here last night for dinner. We ordered about 5 items for $50...it was A LOT of food. The service was awesome, the customer service was great and the food was delicious! We will come back over and over again! Thank you!

Pork XiaoLongBao (8 pieces): delicious pork soup dumplings with the perfect thickness of the skin that passed the chopsticks lifting test with flying colors. $13 as of September 2024. We would definitely get this again. BBQ Pork Bun (3 pieces): while the filling was delicious (succulent pork pieces in sweet, savory Chinese barbecue sauce), the steamed bun on the outside was quite bad. It was extremely stodgy and dense. We would probably not get this ever again. it was definitely not worth the $8 that we paid for this. Beef Rolls: it's a couple of delicious thick Taiwanese-style beef pancake rolls filled with tender braised beef slices, and garnished with cilantro. It was a yummy, and we would definitely order this again. $12 September 2024. Staff were nice and friendly. And I was really impressed with how efficiently they worked. As soon as we finished with any of the foods that we ordered, staff would come almost right away to take away the empty plate to keep our table clean.

From the minute you walk in you are immediately greeted with a hello and welcome in. I placed my order at the counter and got it to go. Absolutely delicious. Portions are huge! I had the egg fried rice and it was perfection. Not greasy or salty, just light and fluffy with the perfect balance of veggies and eggs. I had an order of the pan fried pork dumplings as well. Again perfection. Perfectly toasted bottom with soft tops and juicy pork inside. The inside is small but has enough tables to eat in.

Great place for dumplings and snacks like shrimp tempura, grilled squid, lumpia (yes...like real Filipino lumpia, not egg rolls), and cucumber salad. Order at the cash register and they bring the food to your table. Restaurant is casual and comfortable. Service was friendly and efficient. If absolutely recommend this place- especially for kids because there's huge window where they can watch the food being prepared. It's a fun dining experience.

Visiting family in the Bay area and 88 Bao Bao just happened to be around the corner and highly rated so we popped in for lunch! This busy little plaza on a busy intersection in Concord means plenty of foot traffic for this restaurant. Inside it's super humble and counter order. Or you can grab a table and fill out an order on a paper slip and pay up front. They'll find you by the number on a table stand. We sat by the glassed in kitchen area where you'll find the staff hard at work on your meal. The pork-crab XLB were served up nicely hot and the beef roll was outstanding. A crispy, not greasy scallion pancake wrapped around thin-sliced beef with cilantro and hoisin sauce, delish! And the shao mei were quite good, 12 to a serving. Overall I really liked this quick-serve Asian restaurant. They dabble in some non-Chinese items so it's like a greatest hits menu. And the prices were really good relative to the portion so it was a win all around for me! Now if we could only get a place like 88 Bao Bao where I live...

Super fast service/self-service. You order first and then get a number and food is delivered to you. Water is self-service. They had plenty of options to choose from and we almost ordered the whole menu. The beef roll was perfectly crunchy on the outside. The wonton soup was yummy and if you like some spiciness, then add some chili oil and it really levels it up. The pan fried pork buns are ginormous compared to other places. The pork XLB was good, but it didn't come with that red vinegar. The pork lumpia was probably my least favorite as it could have been crispier and there was a moment I had to double check that the inside was fully cooked. It's definitely a great place to get your dumpling fix. But if you're looking for more variety in dumplings, then I suggest dumpling hours in WC as they offer more options for XLB dumplings.
